My name is Willem van Hinsbergh. I was born in 1955 in a little village called Helvoirt in the Netherlands.

Since 1999 I am employed at the Cadastre and Land Registry Office in the Netherlands. However, in january 2007 I changed my job within the Cadastre from the IT departement to a job as consultant product- and processinnovation GEO. Working at the Cadastre means you get in contact with a lot of maps and spatial-related stuff, but having no real background in Geo, GIS or whatsoever I decided that I wanted a more fundamental background for the field of work. So I started the post-graduate course Unigis.
